Deluxe trail riding
ranch vacation getaways on Missouri Foxtrotter Horses or Quarter
Horses, includes log cabin-bunkhouse living quarters with kitchen
and bath. Choose from trail riding, fishing, hiking, an evening
campfire, other numerous activities,
or just plain country ranch style relaxing. Trail rides include
cowboy saddlebag lunches in scenic spots along the trail or
river beds. A horse-drawn Hayride and chuck wagon dinner
will be provided one evening.

Small groups or only couples
give us the opportunity for individual attention, on willing responsive,
well trained, raised on the ranch horses. Our goal is the more you
know about your horse and equipment the more you will enjoy the
vacation. Different riding techniques expressed as the terrain changes.
Experience smooth speed and agility of the exceptionally even tempered
gaited Missouri Fox-trot Horses while riding in the Missouri Ozarks
- south of the glacier line in the heart of Missouri's cattle country
- famous for its extraordinary biodiversity of plant and animal
species. Relax and experience the pleasures of country living and
ride over endless trails. Your starting point is a small family
ranch in East Central Missouri. The surrounding countryside is home
to wild turkey, white-tailed deer and many other native Missouri
animals. Great Blue Herons nest in the sycamores. Your ride
begins at your cabin door! Explore rivers, caves, forests
and ranch lands.
Ride & River Off Ranch Adventure Ride our Specialty!
You and your horse we be trailered to the trailhead for this incomparable
riding expedition. A full day spent exploring from horseback then
by water.
On hot summer months June/July/Aug.
May we suggest on one day of your vacation, to take a morning half
day ride, lunch on a gravel bar, jump off your horse and into a
canoe, raft, or kayak, your choice to float down the spring-fed
Meramec River to finish off the day refreshed. Stop on your way
back to the ranch at a local pub & grill for dinner!
